THE EMPLOYER IS: FERGUSON & CO SOLICITORSAssisting support staff with the smooth running of the office. Administrative support, including managing mail and phone calls, greeting visitors, filing, photocopying and keeping office supplies stocked. Other duties can include scheduling meetings, data entry and assisting senior staff with general office tasks. A key part of the role is maintaining the smooth day-to-day operation of the office to ensure efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Opening and sorting incoming post.
  • Franking and posting outgoing post.
  • Scanning and photocopying.
  • Assisting with file archiving.
  • Taking telephone calls and forwarding calls to relevant staff.
  • Delivering urgent post within city centre area.
  • Greeting clients.
  • Digital dictation/writing letters on behalf of fee earners.
  • Assisting with land registry applications, applying for property certificates and ace maps.
  • Assisting with stamp duty returns.
  • Assisting with trial bundles for court hearings.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Good organisational and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise.
  • Previous office experience.
