This role involves scanning and logging historical documentation, generating and batching neighbour-notification letters, and scanning or uploading digital information into the paperless planning system (Mastergov). It also includes redacting personal information from digital documents and managing the logging and receipt of online planning applications.

Responsibilities

  • Answering the phone.
  • Data scanning and file disposal.
  • Uploading of historic documentation.
  • Generating and posting letters.
  • The redaction of personal information from digital documents.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Able to use a computer for simple tasks (email, typing, basic data entry).
  • Comfortable learning new systems with support.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Previous experience of Adobe Acrobat would also be useful.
  • Basic literacy and spelling competency.

Further Information

Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
