The Sports Recovery & Wellness Centre Customer Adviser is the first point of contact for all members and visitors. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, processing memberships and payments, and ensuring the facility is welcoming, clean, and well-prepared for daily use.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome all members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Handle all incoming calls, emails, and in-person enquiries promptly and efficiently.
- Provide accurate information about memberships, services, classes, and facility offerings.
- Process new memberships, renewals, cancellations, and other customer account updates.
- Assist with scheduling, bookings, and check-ins for classes or appointments.
- Operate the till and point-of-sale system accurately.
- Process payments for memberships, services, and retail items.
- Support daily opening and closing procedures.
- Assist in setting up and preparing the facility for classes, treatments, and daily operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the facility.
- Work collaboratively with instructors, therapists, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate records and complete daily reports as required.
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and a professional, approachable manner.
- Competent in handling cash.
- Good organisational, multitasking and timekeeping abilities.
- Teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently when required.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Previous experience in a wellness, fitness, spa, or hospitality environment.

Further Information
Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
