MAGHERAFELT WOMEN'S GROUP LTD supports the Magherafelt Womenβs Centre with digital content creation and circulation, enhancing communications and key stakeholder engagement. This role is ideal for someone with an interest in media, design, photography, or administration seeking real work experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the creation of digital content for social media, website updates, digital noticeboards, newsletters, parent communications, centre users and key stakeholders.
- Support the development of the organisation's brand and key messaging.
- Take photographs and videos where permission has been obtained to support digital content.
- Design posters, event flyers and information sheets using basic design tools such as Canva.
- Assist with the preparation of digital documents, parent packs and staff materials.
- Support the Centre Assistant with programme promotion and recruitment.
- Assist with the promotion and organisation of events such as open days and special activities.
- Monitor incoming messages and refer queries to the appropriate staff member.
- Ensure all communications are professional, accurate and timely, complying with organisational policies and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
- Some experience in digital media, communications, or administrative work.
- Basic computer skills, including email, internet use, and word processing.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Good teamwork skills.
- Good organisational skills.
