To support the promotion of cricket in the North West through creative media, social content, and storytelling - increasing engagement across digital platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging content for NWCU's social media, website, and newsletters.
  • Capture photos and videos at matches, events, and community programmes.
  • Assist with media coverage and match reporting.
  • Help design graphics, posters, and digital assets for campaigns.
  • Support communications with clubs and stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Interest in media, communications, or digital content creation.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter).
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Willingness to learn and undertake training as required.
  • Experience using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or video editing software.
  • Experience in photography, videography, or journalism.
  • Knowledge of local sports or community organisations.
  • Creative flair and attention to detail.
  • GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent qualification/experience).

Job Start Opportunity – Working Hours Information – Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. – Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. – Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
