The Clinical Assistant will support day-to-day operations within the podiatry clinic, working under the supervision of the Lead Clinician and Practice Manager. Duties will include preparing treatment areas, assisting with patient intake and documentation, managing clinical equipment and stock, supporting infection control procedures, and providing general administrative support. The role offers hands-on experience in a healthcare setting, exposure to clinical technologies, and opportunities for skill development in patient care and operational workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment is ready for patient care.
  • Assist with patient intake, including documentation and record-keeping.
  • Manage clinical equipment, stock levels, and supply ordering.
  • Support infection control procedures and maintain hygiene standards.
  • Provide general administrative support, including scheduling and filing.
  • Assist clinicians during treatments when required.
  • Ensure compliance with clinic protocols and health & safety regulations.
