Bufab Ireland are looking to recruit a full-time warehouse operative to assist in their busy Lisburn warehouse. The successful candidate will participate in our warehouse operations and activities to store materials, pick, pack and scan orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • To ensure incoming and outgoing deliveries are dealt with efficiently and comply with safety and legal requirements.
  • Adhering to all health and safety procedures.
  • Working individually as well as a team to ensure all orders are picked before company deadlines.
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
  • Report any discrepancies.
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.
  • Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Great organisational skills.
  • Use of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Physically able to lift and move stock as required.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Capable of meeting the physical demands to lift and move stock as required.

Further Information

Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
