SEW READY CIC is seeking a Content Creator to help share our work, values, and impact with a wider audience. This role supports our not-for-profit organisation by creating thoughtful, engaging content that reflects our community, programmes, and studio life. As Content Creator, you’ll be responsible for capturing and sharing what happens in the studio—from classes and workshops to community projects and everyday moments. You’ll help communicate our mission in a clear, accessible, and authentic way across digital platforms. You’ll work closely with the team to plan content, maintain a consistent tone, and ensure our communications feel welcoming, inclusive, and true to who we are. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, visual content, and working within a creative, community-led environment. Responsibilities:
- Creating content for social media, website, and digital communications.
- Capturing photos and short videos within the studio (and occasionally off-site).
- Writing clear, engaging captions and short-form copy.
- Supporting promotion of classes, workshops, and community projects.
- Helping maintain a consistent visual style and tone of voice.
- Organising and scheduling content across platforms.
- Supporting basic reporting on engagement and reach where needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience creating content for social media or digital platforms is essential.
- Confident using a smartphone and/or camera for photo and video content.
- Comfortable with basic editing tools and scheduling platforms.
- An interest in creativity, community, or not-for-profit work is a bonus.

JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information: Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
