The Administrator will support the day-to-day work of Mae Murray Foundation and contribute to our vision of a society where people of all ages and abilities can take part. The role ensures the smooth running of office procedures and provides administrative support to the organisation and its leadership team. The post holder will demonstrate a commitment to equality, inclusion and the values of Mae Murray Foundation in all aspects of their work.
Responsibilities
- Manage correspondence by replying to emails/sorting mail, organising outgoing post and answering phone calls, transferring as necessary.
- Assist in planning and arranging events.
- Draft, format, and print relevant documents.
- Help complete any administrative tasks as required.
- Maintain records as required, processing new membership applications and inputting data to CRM.
- Liaise with members in relation to event booking system.
- General admin duties such as photocopying, filing and taking meeting notes.
- Attend workshops and conferences when requested.
- Support MMF events based in office as required: this involves working with children and adults of all abilities.
Skills and Qualifications
- Able to work alone and as part of a team.
- Competency in ICT systems, including Word and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written skills, ability to converse on the phone.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Experience of working in the third sector.
- Disability awareness training.
- Experience in working in a team setting.
