We’re looking for an individual to join our IT team as a Junior IT Support Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone starting their career in IT, offering hands-on experience in a fast-paced support environment. You’ll be the first point of contact for technical issues, helping users resolve problems and keeping systems running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1st line technical support via phone, email, and ticketing system.
- Log, track, and escalate incidents and service requests.
- Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist with setting up user accounts, devices, and applications.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support activities.
- Follow standard operating procedures and escalate complex issues to 2nd line support.
- Support onboarding of new staff with IT setup and orientation.
Skills and Qualifications
- Interest in IT and technology.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of computers, software, and networks.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the role.
- GCSEs or equivalent; IT-related qualifications are a plus but not required.
- Must have a current UK Driving licence.
- Having access to your own transportation would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office and hardware.
- Experience with basic troubleshooting (even personal or school projects).
- Any IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA ITF, Google IT Support).

- Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours may be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
