We are looking for a customer-focused Barista to join our team. The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and tea beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting café environment, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting and has a passion for coffee and hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders in a timely and friendly manner.
- Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure the café area, equipment, and seating areas are clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times.
- Handle customer payments, operate the POS system, and provide accurate change.
- Restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and other supplies as needed throughout the shift.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent service.
- Maintain a positive attitude and handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally.

- Willingness to learn as all training will be provided.
Further Information
- Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week.
- Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
- Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
