THE EMPLOYER IS: BALLYMACASH SPORTS ACADEMY. The General Assistant will support the day-to-day running of hospitality and retail services at The Bluebell, including the tea room, BBQ area, and event spaces. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals looking to gain experience in customer service, retail, and basic operations. All training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, helpful service to customers and visitors in all hospitality areas.
- Learn to operate tills, process transactions, and handle cash accurately.
- Assist with restocking shelves, arranging displays, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.
- Support with product rotation, checking expiry dates, and basic stock audits.
- Unpack deliveries, organise stock areas, and ensure storage spaces are tidy and efficient.
- Housekeeping: Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all facilities, including dining areas, restrooms, and communal spaces.
- Use and maintain cleaning tools or basic equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures in line with workplace standards.
Skills and Qualifications
- Willingness to learn.
