The predicted salary is between 12 - 13 Β£ per hour.

The Rainbow Project, as a leading charity working for LGBTQIA plus people across Northern Ireland, is reliant on funding to deliver our services, programmes, and organisational objectives. Our constantly changing funding portfolio includes statutory funders, grants/trusts, income from events, corporate relationships, and individual donors.

The Fundraising Assistant will support the Fundraising Team in executing administrative and database tasks to a high standard as well as assist with the preparation of materials and merchandise for fundraising events and the fulfilment of online shop orders.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately input supporter donations onto the organisations CRM (Database) system.
  • Fulfilment of online shop orders and dispatching of same.
  • Maintain/monitor stock take of merchandise.
  • Send thank you correspondence to supporters.
  • Collate materials for various fundraising events.
  • Attend FR events, sell merchandise and assist with collections.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Experience of fundraising and/or working in the voluntary sector.
  • An understanding of LGBTQIA plus rights and community issues.
Further Information

Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
