The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
To carry out routine maintenance, minor repairs and general upkeep of the Enterprise Agency’s buildings and facilities across multiple locations. You will be responsible for ensuring the premises remain in excellent condition and meet health and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform general building maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, electrical work, joinery, painting and decorating.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify and address issues proactively.
- Respond to maintenance requests and carry out repairs in a timely manner.
- Oversee contractors on site when needed and ensure work is completed to required standards.
- Ensure external areas (carparks, pathways, signage) are kept clean, safe and presentable.
- Monitor and carry out basic maintenance of heating, lighting and fire safety systems.
- Assemble furniture or fittings as required across the sites.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working order.
- Maintain accurate records of tasks completed and report issued to management.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Travel between sites as required.
Skills and Qualifications
- Full, valid and clean driving licence.
- Proven experience in a general maintenance or handyman role.
- Practical skills in basic plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry and general repairs.
- Good knowledge of health and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple sites.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working across multiple buildings or within a multi-site organisation.

JobStart Opportunity – Working Hours Information – Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
