The predicted salary is between 12 - 12 Β£ per hour.
We are looking for a Groundsperson to keep the church grounds clean, tidy and presentable at all times. This position will include weeding, power washing, mowing and sweeping.
Responsibilities:
- Keeping paths around the church, Parochial house and graveyard clean and clear from debris.
- Sweeping leaves.
- Keeping weeds cleared and trimming grass leaves.
- Tidy and maintain unkept grave plots.
- Responsible for care and maintenance of equipment provided by the Parish of Roslea.
- Provide assistance to the Parish Priest and Sacristan as required within the grounds of the church.
- Power washing.
- Mowing lawns.
- Treating moss.
- Washing church doors inside and outside along with other wooden facades.
- Other ad hoc duties.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Be able to keep written record of work completed and hours worked.
Further Information:
- Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week.
- Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
- Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
