LAGAN ENGINEERING LTD is seeking a Welder to join our team. The role involves welding fabricated and machined components to engineering drawings and welding specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Carry out welding operations using MIG processes.
- Weld steel components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and specifications.
- Prepare materials for welding (cutting, grinding, cleaning).
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate parameters.
- Inspect welds to ensure quality, strength, and appearance.
- Carry out rework or repairs where required.
- Work with fabrication and fitting teams to complete assemblies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
