Responsibilities:

  • Carry out shotblasting / grit blasting of steel and engineered components.
  • Inspect workpieces for cleanliness, surface profile, and defects.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of blasting equipment.
  • Mask and protect areas not to be blasted.
  • Handle and recycle blasting media safely and efficiently.
  • Follow engineering drawings, job cards, and technical specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Work closely with paint and coating teams to meet production schedules.
  • Comply with health, safety, environmental, and COSHH regulations.
