Responsibilities:
- Carry out shotblasting / grit blasting of steel and engineered components.
- Inspect workpieces for cleanliness, surface profile, and defects.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of blasting equipment.
- Mask and protect areas not to be blasted.
- Handle and recycle blasting media safely and efficiently.
- Follow engineering drawings, job cards, and technical specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Work closely with paint and coating teams to meet production schedules.
- Comply with health, safety, environmental, and COSHH regulations.
