The Electrical Wholesale Assistant role will support the day-to-day operations of the wholesale branch by assisting customers, processing orders, managing stock, and ensuring a high level of service to trade and retail clients. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills and an interest in electrical products and distribution.
Responsibilities
- Customer Service & Sales: Serve both public and trade customers, providing technical advice on electrical products, lighting fixtures, and cables.
- Order Processing: Generate sales quotations, process orders, and handle cash/trade account transactions.
- Stock Management: Unload supplier deliveries, check goods, organize stock on shelves, and assist with inventory control.
- Counter/Branch Maintenance: Maintain a tidy trade counter and warehouse environment.
- Logistics: Pick and pack orders for collection or delivery.
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in wholesale, retail, or customer service.
- Knowledge of electrical products or willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good numeracy and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented.
- Full clean driving license.

Further Information
Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
