This role will combine direct public interaction (greeting visitors, managing facilities, handling complaints) with maintaining cleanliness and safety standards (inspecting facilities, ensuring litter is managed, supporting cleaning activities). This person ensures a welcoming, safe, and hygienic environment for visitors by performing tasks like litter picking, bin emptying, toilet checks, and general public area upkeep of St Columb’s Hall.
Responsibilities
- Visitor Engagement: Interacting with the public, providing information, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Facility Maintenance: Inspecting all areas for cleanliness and safety.
- Hygiene and Cleanliness: Managing litter, emptying bins, and ensuring public areas remain clean and welcoming.
- Basic Safety: Assisting with first aid if trained, and contributing to overall visitor safety.
- Collaboration: Working with staff and volunteers to maintain a positive atmosphere and consistent service.
Skills and Qualifications

Further Information
Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
