As a Receptionist/Administration Support, you will handle and respond to enquiries while providing a warm, friendly, and approachable atmosphere to members of the public.
Responsibilities
- Answering telephone calls and dealing with enquiries.
- Using Centre booking systems including learning how to be responsible for all bookings and keeping clear records of room set-up.
- Requirement needed and details of refreshments.
- Engagement with the public, acting as the face of the centre.
- Meet and greet with a friendly and approachable manner.
- Social media and communications updates.
- Working on the community newsletter.
- Attend meetings and learn how to take and write-up minutes.
Skills and Qualifications
- GCSE Grade C or above, or equivalent, in Maths and English.
- Basic written communication for emails, messages and forms.
- Basic IT Skills including a general knowledge of Microsoft Office e.g. Word, Excel, etc.
- Good organisational skills.
- Knowledge of community and voluntary sector.
Further Information
Job Start Opportunity - Working Hours Information:
- Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week.
- Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
- Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
