Position is responsible for assisting the head coach/lead coach with organising the Soccer programme at the assigned school/centre/holiday sessions and events. Position assists with conducting practices, motivating children, and assisting with instructing football techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Coaching soccer, primarily to young people.
  • Engaging in a professional manner with all young people, parents and colleagues.
  • Preparing and maintaining equipment.
  • Planning and preparing sporting sessions.
  • Attending meetings of all coaching and management.
  • Ensuring young people have a safe and enjoyable experience.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Satisfactory Enhanced ACCESS NI check before starting.
  • Support team working.
  • Some knowledge of sporting benefits to individuals, families and society.
  • Sense of community.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Level 1 IFA Coaching badge.
  • Knowledge of Google systems.
  • Interest in web design and social media as a tool for engagement.

Further Information

  • Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week.
  • Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
  • Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
