We’re looking for an individual to join our team as a customer service administrator. The Customer Service & Administration Assistant will support the smooth running of the credit union by assisting with day to day office duties, providing excellent customer service to members, and helping with marketing and communication activities.
Responsibilities
- Welcome members in person and by phone.
- Respond to general member enquiries and support members with general queries.
- Assist with general office tasks including filing, photocopying, scanning, and updating records.
- Help maintain accurate member information and ensure data is handled securely and confidentially.
- Support staff with preparing documents, reports, or correspondence as needed.
- Support the preparation of social media content, newsletters, posters, and promotional materials.
- Help coordinate and promote loan campaigns and member engagement activities.
- Assist with updating the website or noticeboards with relevant information.
- Gather member feedback or success stories to support promotional efforts.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Good numeracy skills and confidence with cash handling.
- Ability to post updates, respond to comments, and maintain a positive brand presence on platforms like Facebook or Instagram.
- Understanding of what makes engaging content (images, short text, promotions).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to learn, ability to work as part of a small, collaborative team.
- Experience in customer service or an office environment.
- Basic knowledge of social media tools (Facebook, Instagram).
- Experience writing or supporting newsletters or promotional content.

Further Information
- Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week.
- Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
- Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
