The Media Assistant will support the promotion and visibility of Mid Ulster Volunteer Centre by assisting with marketing, advertising, and social media activity. The role will focus on scheduling content, supporting campaigns, maintaining data, and producing basic reports to help monitor engagement and impact.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of marketing and promotional activities for Mid Ulster Volunteer Centre.
- Assist with scheduling and publishing content across social media platforms using agreed content calendars and tools.
- Help create and organise digital content such as social media posts, graphics, and basic promotional materials.
- Monitor social media channels and report on engagement, reach, and audience growth.
- Assist with preparing regular reports on social media performance and marketing activity.
- Maintain and update marketing databases, contact lists, and campaign records in line with data protection requirements.
- Support the co-ordination of marketing and advertising campaigns, working with staff and partners to meet deadlines.
- Assist with promoting events, volunteering opportunities, and campaigns online.
- Work with staff to gather content such as stories, images, and updates (with appropriate permissions).
- Provide general administrative support related to marketing and communications.
- Follow organisational policies including branding, confidentiality, data protection, and safeguarding.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties appropriate to the role.
Skills and Qualifications
- Good written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and accurate content.
