Lilac is recruiting a friendly, organised and community minded person to support our growing team. This role combines administration, social media, content creation and helping to contribute directly to Lilac's mission of supporting local people living in The Mid Ulster District Council Area.
Responsibilities:
- Creating engaging social media posts to promote Lilac's work and upcoming events.
- Use social media e.g. WhatsApp to communicate directly with our clients and volunteers.
- Monitor how others are using social media and stay informed of trends.
- Answering and recording content of phone calls and directing to relevant staff.
- Recording data manually, and on tablet, processing data to computer systems.
- Attending events as a Lilac representative.
- Undertake further relevant training and tutorials.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Educated to GCSE or equivalent level including English.
- Excellent communication skills - strong written content and ability to listen to needs of Lilac and their clients.
- Knowledge of social media platforms - can demonstrate how to adapt to the methods of communication by the platforms.
- Knowledge of up-to-date trends and what ‘competitors’ are doing.
- Time management and flexibility.
- Driving Licence.
Further Information:
- Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week.
- Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
- Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
