The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

Lisburn Cricket Club play in the Northern Cricket Union of Ireland and are responsible for promoting and developing the game across schools, clubs, and communities in Lisburn and Castlereagh, along with other clubs in that area.

As a Community Cricket Coach, you will assist in the delivery of coaching sessions and participation programmes across the LCCC region. This entry-level role provides valuable experience in sports coaching, event support, and community engagement, working as part of an experienced and supportive team. You will be involved in evening and weekend sessions regularly with this role.

Responsibilities
  • Support Lisburn CC DOC in planning and delivering inclusive cricket coaching sessions in schools, clubs, and community settings.
  • Assist with evening and weekend coaching, including Sunday pathway sessions.
  • Help coordinate and deliver Lisburn events such as cricket festivals and indoor league fixtures.
  • Prepare and maintain coaching and event equipment, ensuring safe and efficient use.
  • Promote participation opportunities among underrepresented groups including women, girls, and people with disabilities.
  • Record attendance and feedback to support programme monitoring and evaluation.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Be able to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Basic knowledge or playing experience of cricket.
  • Experience working or volunteering with children, young people or community groups.
  • Basic IT skills for recording data and reporting participation.
  • Access to transport for travel between schools and venues.
Further Information

Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
