We are looking for an enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our busy kitchen team at The Deer’s Head, home of Urban Scullery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in food who wants to develop their skills in a professional kitchen environment.
You will work alongside our experienced chefs preparing high-quality dishes made from fresh, local ingredients. Full training will be provided, including knife skills, kitchen organisation, hygiene standards, and basic cooking techniques.
This role is ideal for someone starting their career in hospitality who is eager to learn, work hard, and be part of a fun, supportive team.
Responsibilities:- Assist chefs with daily food preparation and service.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Follow all food hygiene and safety procedures.
- Help with stock rotation and storage.
