The predicted salary is between 12 - 13 Β£ per hour.
This role is a vital, hands-on position supporting the safety, security, and functionality of our buildings and resources, while often also providing practical, and sometimes access-based, support for artists, staff and projects. If you are applying for this role, you should be able to commit to working some evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Building management support to include basic maintenance and repairs.
- Monitor and maintain standards of cleanliness and organisation at the storage unit.
- Equipment handling: careful moving, handling and secure storage of equipment and props.
- Sourcing materials and equipment as required.
- Involvement in event crew activities including setting up, and de-rigging the Baby Top tent, and other structures; supporting event logistics; moving equipment; basic technical support.
- Identify and complete relevant training opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Able to drive and access to/own car.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines as required.
- Be a team player with willingness to take direction but also a high level of initiative.
- Willingness to work flexible and anti-social hours.
- Willingness to meet the physical demand of the role.
- Experience of working on events.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety on event sites.
- DIY and building maintenance experience.
Further Information:
Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
