Our products include Egg Incubators, Brooders, Automatic Door Openers, Feeders, Drinkers, Pen-Roof Netting and many more. Our customers range from hobbyists to small holders to commercial and everyone in between!
Over the years we have evolved into an E-commerce business, whereby we are processing most of our orders online and then sending them out to customers while keeping a 5 star customer service reputation intact.
The Warehouse Operative plays a key role in keeping our daily operations running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders, maintaining a tidy workspace, stock management and supporting the wider team whenever needed.
Responsibilities- Pick and pack customer orders with accuracy and care.
- Prepare parcels for dispatch, including labelling and quality checks.
- Receive, unload, and store incoming stock.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe.
- Assist with stock counts and inventory checks.
- Work closely with the team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
- Follow company procedures to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Ensuring safe collection of orders from courier.
- Any other duties as required.
- Use of Microsoft Office tools.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not essential - we’re happy to train the right person.
- Comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet throughout the day.
- Ability to lift and move boxes safely (within reasonable limits - up to 30kg).
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or similar roles.
- Full driving licence.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Operating computerised stock system.
- Organising of collections/deliveries.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Able to lift and move stock as required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information:
- Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week.
- Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
- Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
