The predicted salary is between 650 - 800 £ per month.
The successful applicant will assist in the day-to-day duties, learning all aspects of automotive locksmithing. This includes shadowing experienced staff, developing hands-on skills, and supporting workshop and mobile work as required.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the diagnosis, repair, and programming of vehicle keys and immobiliser systems.
- Learning how to cut, clone, and program car keys under supervision.
- Supporting workshop tasks including organising tools, maintaining equipment, and keeping the workspace clean.
- Helping with customer drop-offs, collections, and basic front-of-house communication.
- Attending training sessions and completing learning modules related to automotive locksmithing.
- Assisting with mobile call-outs alongside senior staff when ready.
- Following health & safety procedures and maintaining professional conduct at all times.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn.
- Able to follow instructions.
- Basic problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence (or working towards one).
- Interest in cars, mechanics, or automotive technology.
- Previous experience in a workshop or technical environment.

Further Information:
- Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week.
- Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
- Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
