We are hiring for two Trainee Accounts Assistants. This position will include various tasks including processing invoices and sales activity, processing payrolls and VAT returns and liaising with client suppliers. This position is ideal training for a career in Accountancy. Training will involve using the latest accountancy software and processes. All workstations have three computer monitors. This role offers some flexibility over the days and hours worked, however, there is no home working offered.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with client suppliers and making payments.
- Processing payrolls.
- Managing auto-enrolment pensions.
- Processing VAT returns.
- Reviewing and processing incoming emails.
- Responsible for an accurate and timely output of the work assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to complete given work accurately and quickly.
- Fluency with Microsoft Apps such as Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Experience of cloud accounting systems such as QuickBooks and Xero.
- An interest in a career in Accountancy.
Further Information
Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
