The Rainbow Project, as a leading charity working for LGBTQIA plus people across Northern Ireland, provides various services including Health & Wellbeing, Counselling, Sexual Health testing, Hate Crime & Ethnic minority support and advice.

The Belfast Services Assistant will support the Service staff team in executing administrative and organisational tasks, supporting the delivery of services.

Responsibilities
  • Answering phone calls from service-users and professionals.
  • Corresponding with service-users and managing appointment bookings.
  • Supporting the day-to-day operation of the centre.
  • Assisting in delivery of Health & Wellbeing services.
  • Supporting facilitation of peer social groups.
  • Supporting facilitation and administration of training services.
  • Accurately input feedback and evaluations of services into digital systems.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills.
  • Ability to hold confidential information with respect and discretion in accordance with GDPR.
  • An understanding of emotional health & wellbeing issues.
  • An understanding of LGBTQIA plus rights and community issues.
Further Information

Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
