Nord Events is a professional event management agency based in Belfast. We are seeking a Project Assistant to join our core team. You will work directly with our Project Manager to help plan and deliver our operations.

You will receive formal training in IOSH Working Safely (a recognised industry qualification) and learn how to use digital project management tools like Monday.com. This role is perfect for someone who is organised, tech-savvy, and wants to see how live-events are built from the ground up.

Nord Events is a growing events company based in Belfast, with opportunities to gain insight into event operations across Ireland. This role will provide valuable experience in administration, communication, and digital coordination within a fast-paced creative industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Update and maintain digital project boards using Monday.com to track tasks and deadlines.
  • Attend team meetings, take formal minutes, and convert discussions into Action Points.
  • Support advancing and admin for our ongoing projects.
  • Assist with data analysis and reporting to help the team make operational decisions.
  • Manage digital files and documentation using Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets).
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Competent computer literacy and confidence learning new software.
  • Willingness to undertake formal training.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Drive, Gmail, Sheets).
  • Interest in Project Management or Health & Safety.
  • Previous experience with task management apps or software.
Further Information:

Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
