The successful candidate will be tasked with carrying out many of the practical activities involved in the manufacturing process, working to meet targets and stay within budgets, as well as assessing the manufacturing process for areas of improvement. No previous experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • To be able to confidently carry out all tasks required in the production room - embroidery, printing, pressing, wicking, trimming etc.
  • To follow all instructions received from the Decoration Production Manager on a daily basis.
  • Work to production targets, control production costs to budgeted limits, and follow systems to effectively manage work in progress levels and ensure proper material waste management.
  • Continually assess the manufacturing process and recommend improvements you feel could benefit the company.
  • Work effectively with other team members to ensure effective implementation of development projects.
  • Maintain and clean the machines.
  • Use the CRM system when producing goods.
  • Work with the production manager.
  • Work to delivery dates on orders.

All training will be provided for this role.

Further Information

  • Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week.
  • Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
  • Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
