The Junior Artworker will support the Brand and Design Team in preparing, refining, and finalising artwork for print and digital projects. This role focuses on accurately implementing design and copy amends, ensuring all outputs meet Whitenoise’s creative and technical standards. The position offers valuable hands-on experience working with established brands under the guidance of a Senior Artworker and Brand Team Leader.
Responsibilities
- Implement design and copy amends across a variety of creative projects (print, digital, social, motion, and branded collateral).
- Prepare print-ready artwork and digital assets following brand guidelines and technical specifications.
- Work closely with the Senior Artworker and Brand Team Leader to ensure all projects meet deadlines and maintain design consistency.
- Manage and organise artwork files, maintaining clear version control and asset storage.
- Check for layout, typographical, and production errors before delivery.
- Continuation of design style and format to produce full documents, with oversight of senior artworker and brand team leader.
- Support wider creative teams with resizing, formatting, and file preparation tasks.
- Contribute to internal process improvements in artwork production and file management.
- Research and creative ideation.
- Additional adhoc studio duties and tasks as required.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop).
- Preference for candidates with 1-2 years of creative studio/design team experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy under time pressure.
- Understanding of print and digital production processes.
- Experience in a creative agency or team.
- Client account management.
- Marketing skills or experience.
