As a supervisor/floor management staff, you will form a key role in the smooth running of our F&B operations. You will lead by example on the floor, support the restaurant manager and ensure guests receive a consistently excellent dining experience. This is a hands-on role requiring leadership and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily FOH operations during service.
- Supervise, motivate, and support the FOH team.
- Ensure high standards of customer service at all times.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback.
- Open and close the restaurant when required.
- Manage table allocations and service flow during busy periods.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained.
- Support staff training and onboarding.
- Assist with rota management and shift coordination.
- Step in to perform all FOH duties when required, such as waiting tables, hosting and bar support.
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant / hospitality FOH role.
- Proven ability to work proactively & independently.
- Strong leadership & communication skills with the ability to give a clear handover.
- Ability to perform all FOH duties confidently.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Strong problem-solving skills & attention to detail.
- Ability to form and monitor procedures.
- Understanding costings and GP.
- Previous supervisory or assistant management experience.
- Knowledge of POS systems.
- Basic understanding of cash handling.
- Food safety or hospitality-related certifications.
- Passion for seafood or quality dining experiences.
Further Information
Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
