The role involves serving as the main point of contact for clients and providing support to the manager and studio staff as needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the reception area and welcoming clients.
- Assisting with garment intake.
- Answering phones and responding to customer enquiries.
- Booking and managing client appointments.
- Preparing, printing and issuing invoices.
- Supporting seamstresses with studio tasks such as steaming gowns, hand sewing/minor repairs and light machine sewing when required.
- Organising fabrics and studio supplies.
- Maintaining a clean and well organised workspace.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Adequate technical ability in order to complete card payments, making/printing invoices and booking appointments.
- Able to handle money and use a calculator with ease.
- Ability to use Canva.
- Sewing skills - Training will be provided.
JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information:
- Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week.
- Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
- Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
