Small Steps is seeking a Shop Assistant to join their team. This role will involve working in a busy charity shop and assist the manager in the day to day running of the shop.
Responsibilities:
- Using tills, processing payments, giving change, and following basic financial procedures.
- Pricing items correctly.
- Engage with and assist customers.
- Sorting donations, organizing displays, and restocking shelves.
- Use a clothes steamer.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Full training will be provided.
- Portable Appliance Testing Certificate (training can be provided).
Further Information:
- Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week.
- Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
- Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
