The predicted salary is between 12 - 13 £ per hour.
The successful candidate will act as a key holder and be responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of Tullymore Community Centre's Buildings & Grounds. They will drive the minibus for Afterschools, Youth project and Older people’s services.
Responsibilities
- Act as a key holder, open and close building as and when required.
- Maintain and monitor all facilities to ensure cleanliness is paramount and always free of hazards.
- Carry out light repairs and small paint repairs.
- To drive minibus for school pick-up service and older people on trips.
- To keep a risk register.
- Ensure centre users are treated with respect and that they respect their surroundings and our facilities.
- Set-up and take down equipment according to schedules.
- Welcome and assist centre users with general enquiries when possible.
- Adhere to all published health & safety / Risk procedures and adhere to all policies.
- Perform other duties as required by management.
- Keep work area clean and hospitable for clients visiting.

Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 plus year’s working in a similar role.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience working in the building trade / building maintenance.
- Skills in multitasking and good time-management.
- Full driving licence.
- Health & Safety qualification.
- NVQ Qualification within the building trade.
- Experience of driving a minibus.
- An ability to prioritise work.
- Flexible hours.
Further Information
- Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week.
- Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
- Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
