The predicted salary is between 12 - 13 Β£ per hour.
The successful candidate will act as a caretaker and supervisor, ensuring that all facilities and public areas are properly maintained and presented to the facilities standard guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring quality standards and procedures are fully understood, implemented and regularly reviewed.
- Assisting customer services team in the delivery of facility services.
- Maintaining the security of facilities and stock and dealing with lost property in accordance with facilities procedures.
- Ensuring the proper use of equipment and materials in the correct manner and that any problems/issues are reported immediately.
- Responding to members and users concerns and finding the appropriate solution.
- Complying with all health, safety and hygiene policies and procedures.
- Working effectively with colleagues across departments to ensure a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.
- Maintaining a high level of general cleanliness, general maintenance and upkeep of the facilities, ensuring a friendly and efficient service to all users of the facilities.
- Ensuring that the security of the facilities is maintained and scheduled health and safety and other checks are conducted throughout the facilities.
- Carrying out minor repairs and general maintenance including but not limited to basic plumbing and decorating and being able to work unsupervised.
- Ensuring that all allocated tasks are completed within the required timescales and to the standard required by their Line Manager.
- Acting as a caretaker for the facility and performing opening and closing duties as and when required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Interpersonal, relationship-building skills.
- Flexibility and the ability to work on more than one task at a time.
- Ability to work under pressure and against agreed timescales.
- The ability to prioritise, plan, organise and demonstrate attention to detail.
Further Information:
- Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week.
- Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
- Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
