The predicted salary is between 10 - 12 Β£ per hour.
This role will support the day-to-day administrative and financial functions of Annadale Community Centre. The participant will help ensure the smooth running of our programmes and services, gain hands-on experience in office administration, basic finance processes, community sector operations, and develop practical workplace skills.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting general office administration such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, welcoming visitors, and filing documents.
- Assisting with basic finance duties including recording receipts, logging invoices, updating simple spreadsheets, and helping prepare information for monthly financial reporting.
- Assisting with room bookings, maintaining booking calendars, and supporting communication with community groups and service users.
- Helping prepare paperwork for projects, events, and funding requirements, including gathering monitoring information.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Good basic literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to complete simple written tasks and handle basic numerical information accurately.
- Basic IT skills, including confidence using email and simple computer programmes.
- Good communication skills are essential, with the ability to interact politely and professionally with staff, service users and visitors.
- Ability to take instruction and work as part of a team.
Further Information:
- Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week.
- Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
- Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
