The predicted salary is between 12 - 13 £ per hour.
We are looking for an accounting assistant to support our credit control team in managing and retrieving payments. You’ll be working with clients, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities
- Chasing outstanding payments and communicate with clients regarding payment terms.
- Process card payments over the phone and set up GoCardless accounts.
- Handle client bank account information securely and confidentially.
- Use Sage software to manage accounts and track payments.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to client queries.
- Assist in verifying accounts and identifying discrepancies.
Skills and Qualifications
- Good knowledge of Sage software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and phone skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work with sensitive financial information confidentially.
- Basic understanding of payment processing and credit control procedures.
- Experience with accounting software or systems would be beneficial.

Further Information
Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
