The predicted salary is between 7 - 12 £ per hour.
You will support the Bar Owner with day-to-day operations of the bar while developing skills, knowledge and leadership experience. The trainee will learn all aspects of bar management to undertake customer service, stock control and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Assist in smooth day-to-day running of the bar.
- Ensure bar areas are clean, stocked and well presented.
- Assist with stock control and rotation.
- Support stock take and deliveries.
- Learn ordering procedures.
- Learn best practice Health and Safety and compliance.
- Assist with marketing and social media.
- Assist with further development of the business.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
- Willingness to learn.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Previous bar, hospitality or customer facing experience.
- Knowledge of drinks.
- Friendly, approachable and professional manner.
- Reliable and punctual.
Further Information
Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
