The Housekeeper for the Wellbeing Farm supports the charity by keeping the onsite cottage accommodation clean, tidy and welcoming for people using the wellbeing farm. The role helps staff to make sure guests have a comfortable, safe and positive stay in a calm, well presented environment.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and tidying: Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors and wiping surfaces.
- Changeovers: Change bed linen and towels, empty bins and check rooms are clean, stocked and ready for the next guests.
- Laundry: Help with washing, drying and folding bedding and towels, and storing them neatly.
- Stock and supplies: Refill basic items such as toilet roll, soap, cleaning products and tea/coffee, and let staff know when anything is running low.
- General support: Report any damages or maintenance issues to staff and help keep shared areas of the farm tidy and welcoming.
Skills and Qualifications
- Able to follow basic instructions, work carefully and ask for help when unsure.
- Comfortable carrying out routine cleaning and light manual tasks such as lifting linen and using cleaning equipment safely.
- Any previous experience of cleaning, housekeeping, hospitality, accommodation or caring for shared spaces.
- Knowledge of working in a well-being farm setting and being part of a friendly team that supports each other with daily tasks and guest changeovers.
