The Store Person will manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and consumables for Warwick Engineering (NI) Ltd. This role ensures accurate inventory control, supports production teams, and maintains a safe and organized store area. Duties include checking deliveries, issuing materials, conducting stock audits, and following health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Check deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes. Inspect materials for damage or defects and report discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate stock records in the system. Monitor stock levels and alert when reordering is needed.
  • Store raw materials, consumables, and tools in designated areas.
  • Ensure safe and efficient layout for easy access.
  • Prepare and issue materials to fabrication teams as per job requirements.
  • Record all material movements to maintain traceability.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts.
  • Assist with annual inventory audits.
  • Follow safe handling procedures for heavy or hazardous materials.

  • Maintain delivery notes, stock cards, and system entries.
  • Prepare reports for management on stock usage and shortages.
  • Liaise with purchasing for material requirements.

Further Information

  • Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week.
  • Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
