As a Junior Barber Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the operations of our barber shop. Working closely with experienced barbers, you will assist in various tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the establishment and exceptional service delivery to our clients. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the art of barbering and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients as they enter the barber shop and assist them in scheduling appointments.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness throughout the barber shop, including workstations, tools, and common areas.
- Assist barbers in preparing equipment, tools, and products for services.
- Shampoo, condition, and towel dry clients' hair before barbering services.
- Escort clients to and from styling stations, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Provide support to barbers during services, such as holding tools, passing products, and ensuring client safety.
- Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and restocking towels and capes.
- Monitor inventory levels of barbering supplies and communicate needs to management for replenishment.
- Learn and adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation and disinfection practices.
- Assist in maintaining a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for clients, fostering positive relationships and repeat business.
