We are a small, high-quality video production business working across documentary, commercial, tourism, podcasting and live content. We are looking for a part-time Assistant Videographer / Editor to support ongoing projects, with the opportunity for the role to grow over time.

This is a hands-on, developmental role suited to someone early in their career who is creative, technically capable, and keen to build real-world production experience across filming, editing, podcasting and content delivery. You will work closely with the Director, gaining practical experience while contributing to the delivery of professional video and audio content for a wide range of clients.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with filming on location and in studio settings.
  • Operating cameras, audio and lighting equipment under direction.
  • Editing video content using Adobe Premiere Pro (and related software).
  • Assisting with podcast recording, setup and basic editing.
  • Organising and managing media, backing up footage, and preparing files for delivery.
  • Supporting pre-production tasks such as shot lists, basic storyboards and scheduling.
  • Preparing content for online, social media and client delivery.
  • General production support across a range of projects.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Some practical experience with video filming and/or editing (education, freelance, or personal projects welcome).
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar editing software).
  • Knowledge of video production, storytelling and media.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new technical and creative skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a small team.
  • Experience using professional camera systems (Sony, Canon or similar).
  • Basic understanding of lighting for video or photography.
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop or similar tools.
  • Basic understanding of social media formats and content requirements.
  • A full driving licence and ability to travel to filming locations.
Further Information

Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
