The successful candidate will support the store by managing stock in the storeroom, ensuring deliveries are processed efficiently and keeping stock organised, safe and ready for the shop floor.
Responsibilities
- Maintain storeroom in a clean, tidy well organised condition.
- Receive and check all incoming deliveries against delivery notes.
- Report any damages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Rotate stock to prevent damage or expiry.
- Fill out shelves with excess stock.
- Assist with stock control.
- Any reasonable duty required by the supervisor.
Skills and Qualifications
- Good organisation and time management.
- Strong attention to detail when checking stock.
- Physically able to lift, move and carry stock safely.
- Able to work independently.
- Team player.
- Experience in warehousing, stockroom or retail.
Further Information
- Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week.
- Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
- Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
