The predicted salary is between 12 - 13 £ per hour.

As the Warehouse Operative/Driver, you will be working within a busy warehouse environment, preparing customer orders for delivery, supporting customers at the trade counter, and completing local van deliveries. You’ll be a key part of day-to-day operations, helping to ensure orders are accurate, on time, and delivered with excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Picking and packing orders to customer specifications.
  • Inspecting deliveries and proactively resolving any supplier issues.
  • Preparing orders and paperwork for dispatch.
  • Loading delivery vans with installation teams and securing orders correctly.
  • Delivering orders safely and efficiently.
  • Assisting customers in-store and over the phone.
  • Supporting customer collections and recommending suitable products.
  • Once checked, organising stock and placing items into designated bays.
  • Printing supplier order acknowledgements and confirming all items arrive as ordered.
  • Ensuring supplier updates are recorded accurately on internal systems.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Driving skills.
  • Experience working within an office using MS Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Experience with order processing.
  • Experience in warehousing and use of forklift.

JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information:

  • Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week.
  • Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
  • Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
