The predicted salary is between 12 - 13 £ per hour.
As the Warehouse Operative/Driver, you will be working within a busy warehouse environment, preparing customer orders for delivery, supporting customers at the trade counter, and completing local van deliveries. You’ll be a key part of day-to-day operations, helping to ensure orders are accurate, on time, and delivered with excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Picking and packing orders to customer specifications.
- Inspecting deliveries and proactively resolving any supplier issues.
- Preparing orders and paperwork for dispatch.
- Loading delivery vans with installation teams and securing orders correctly.
- Delivering orders safely and efficiently.
- Assisting customers in-store and over the phone.
- Supporting customer collections and recommending suitable products.
- Once checked, organising stock and placing items into designated bays.
- Printing supplier order acknowledgements and confirming all items arrive as ordered.
- Ensuring supplier updates are recorded accurately on internal systems.
Skills and Qualifications
- Driving skills.
- Experience working within an office using MS Office, including Excel and Word.
- Experience with order processing.
- Experience in warehousing and use of forklift.

JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information:
- Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week.
- Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
- Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
