THE EMPLOYER IS: DIGITAL TWENTY FOURThis is an entry level position providing general administrative and marketing support within a digital marketing agency. You will help keep the office and client projects organised so that the team can deliver their work on time. This position is ideal for someone who is organised, friendly and wants to gain office and marketing experience. The participant will work across different accounts and tasks, giving them a broad introduction to agency life.Full training will be provided on our systems, processes and how we communicate with clients. You will develop skills in organisation, communication, basic data handling and confidence using office software and online tools.
Responsibilities
- Supporting day to day administrative tasks, including updating systems like Asana and organising project documents.
- Keeping shared folders tidy and making sure files are saved in the right place.
- Assisting with the preparation of client reports and presentations.
- Assisting the Managing Director and the Performance Director with managing emails and calendars, including booking meetings and organising follow ups.
- Monitoring social media channels for comments and messages, passing queries to the right team member.
- Carrying out basic online research to support campaign planning, such as finding local events or competitor activity.
- Maintaining content calendars, checking that dates, times and links are correct and up to date.
- Assisting with scheduling posts on social media under supervision, following agreed plans.
- Supporting general office tasks such as ordering supplies, preparing meeting rooms and arranging refreshments.
Skills and Qualifications
- Basic computer skills, including typing, using email and working with simple documents and spreadsheets.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and complete tasks to an agreed standard.
- Comfortable handling simple numbers, for example updating basic figures in a spreadsheet.
- Willingness to learn new systems such as shared drives, project management tools or email software.
- Ability to work well in a small team, respecting confidentiality and client information.
- Any previous experience in an office, shop, café, charity or voluntary role where you dealt with the public or handled basic admin.
- Experience using Google Workspace or Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Experience using shared calendars or booking systems, even in a school or community setting.
- Interest in marketing, business administration or customer service as a future career path.
- Any example of organising something, for instance a club activity, charity event or family occasion, showing planning and coordination skills.
