About the Role

As a clinician in the Community Rehab Team, you will:

  • Provide dysphagia and communication assessment and intervention.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care in home and community settings
  • Consistently collaborate, sharing expertise and resources to deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients

About the Team/Service/Location

The Nelson Tasman Community Rehabilitation Team is an adult specialist neurological rehabilitation service.

The team work closely with clients, whānau, and healthcare providers to improve recovery outcomes and independence in the community.

About you

As a clinician in the Community Rehab Team, you will:

  • Be a registered Speech Therapist with a minimum of 3 years clinical experience
  • Have experience of working with other professions and MDT processes as well as service delivery monitoring
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills, a can-do attitude with a strong quality focus
  • Be a strong team member who is enthusiastic and innovative
  • Have experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
